A cultural immersion in Jamaica

In 2028, I will return to Jamaica to create a deeper cultural immersion rooted in movement, music, history, everyday life and Jamaican cultural practices.

This journey will grow from my ongoing relationship with Jamaica, Dancehall and Jamaican culture, and from the research, encounters and learning that have shaped my practice over the years.

Carnival & Festival Culture
Go beyond watching the parade and encounter the movement, music, costume, preparation, community and cultural meanings behind Carnival.

Food & Local Life
Experience local food, gatherings, markets, traditions and everyday ways of being.

Nature & Place
Make space for landscapes, water, land, walking, slowing down and experiencing the environment.

Rest & Reflection
These journeys are not about filling every hour. There is space to breathe, wander, observe, rest and take in what you are experiencing.
